You are probably aware that we are invited to join the crowd at Restronguet for the Nationals over the late May Bank Holiday w/e. We'll be there in 812, if only for the pig roast and the p&*s up on the river trip. Anyone else coming? Be nice to make a race of it. How about you Medway boys - come and try your hand and win a race or three. Watever happened to 762? Still out there somewhere? Will the Bruiser Boys come and salvage their egos?

Hi Guys,

Nationals - the Class Association need to pay Restronguet SC to host the event by the end of the month.

PLEASE therefore sign up before the 20th April - cheques payable to the ISO Class Association and mailed to Ian Keam-George at the address on the form.

http://www.isoracing.org.uk/2004nationalsnor.pdf

- go on - go on, go on, go on ! - do it NOW !!!!

Yes, we do have to pay all our host clubs to host events, pay the rescue boat fuel bill, ensure rescue cover, have prizes ready and several other costs.

From what we're hearing on the Committe, we're looking forward to a really good Nationals turnout - something like 35 boats - and maybe more........ but it does need everyone to commit to the event. To keep costs as low as we can and ensure the socials have enough beer in stock ( priorities Bob !! ) we need to know how many to cater for both on and off the water.

Yes - you will be able to sign up on the day - but - this year I'm afraid we will have to charge you the late sign on fee as published.

Come on folks - let's make a great event even greater ........ do I hear 40 ISOs ???

Come you BOSS guys - this includes you too. Now you can't let the Spices outnumber you - can you ??

We're hoping to take 755 down for the nationals, but need to figure out how to get it from Datchet to Cornwall (no towbar). Any suggestions?

Well I suppose the obvious answer is buy one. They are about £200 ( GT Towing, Potters Bar ) and not only enable you to get to the Nationals but all the other Class events as well. The towbar gets cheaper the more events you attend

Another is look at a double stacker and talk ever so nicely to someone with a towbar - there is a double stacker at Datchet. Talk to Steve Murray he might know who owns it.

BTW all you BOSS guys - we haven't got any of you signed up just yet. Download the Entry Form from this web site and get it to Ian Keam-George asap with your cheque.

Late entry fee now applies I'm afraid - but at least if you get it to him now there will be a place for you on the river trip with :-

Beer
Food
Somewhere to sit

And then there's the Sunday night beer and meal .......

Just turn up on the day and you get to race - but the beer .........

So how many will be in the BOSS fleet ???

And another thing.

If you guys can get at least 6 boats signed on ( cheques and Entry Forms to Ian K-G ) by 17th May we might just see what we can do about a Class start all for yourselves - and a prize or two.

Now if you could make it 10 ...........

well, we're definitely going, so that's 1! Mast sorted, and hopefully accommodation too (but then I can't afford 4* stuff like the man at the back)
