Draycote Water - located just south of Rugby. Excellent reservoir for race meetings. Have loads of facilities for training and have helped the class out for numerous training weekends. On site bar with good beer prices. Galley is open every weekend but can be a tad pricey so a packed lunch for at least the Saturday might be advisable.

Accomodation I have always used has been the Dun Cow in Dunchurch. It is an innkeepers lodge place and the prices are the same nomatter what type of room you require. Food is good, beer is £2.50 for a Stella, but £1.95 for a John Smiths. Breakfast is continental only, no proper fry up breakfast.
Book online and chose the south rugby inn:

When visiting Draycote, can also recommend Toft House Bed and Breakfast - listed under Draycote SC's Accomodation List, first rate accomodation, drying room, half the price of the Dun Cow, and stumbling distance from Dunchurch / Dracote Water.

Also recommend Draycote for sailing location and loads of wind every time we go there!!!

Hopefully recovered/repaired in time for oxford!!

Cheers

I sail at Draycote as a member, the only ISO there!
You could also try the local town of Southam as an alternative place to stay when visiting Draycote.
