Training Weekend on the Solent at Seafarers Sailing Club 2013
Following the success of last year’s training weekend we shall be running another weekend event this year. All ability’s are welcome from the beginner through to the most experienced, as there is a social aspect to the weekend.
I have started organising the Buzz Training Weekend for 11th and 12th of May 2013. The weekend activities are tailored to the needs of these attending e.g.:
Boat setup Rigging and tuning tips Boat handling Technique improvement Sail handling Race start Club Racing Any other issue
If you are planning to attend please can you let me know (for numbers) along with any aspects of Buzz sailing you would like to participate in.

Sailing club info: http://www.seafarers-sailing-club.org.uk/. The club offers a friendly environment for sailing via a public slipway. The weekend will consist of training on the Saturday with the opportunity to take part in club racing on the Sunday.

Buzz Training and Social Get Together
Dates: 11th and 12th of May 2013
Location: Seafarers Sailing Club (PO14 3QS) www.seafarers-sailing-club.org.uk
The aim of the weekend is to provide an enjoyable time were Buzz sailors can get together and participate on helping each other improve they sailing skills. Saturday will offer boat rigging and tuning tips with plenty of time on the water and in the evening a social get together for a Chinese meal with the club bar being open. Sunday morning there will be the opportunity of club racing with further race practise in the afternoon.
The fee for the Buzz Training weekend will by per boat: 1 £30 for fee pay before the 6 May 2013 and 2 £35 after 7 May 2013

It is only four weeks to the Buzz Training Weekend and much planning is going on.
Please can you confirm whether you are planning to coming? Some indication would be nice for considering coming e.g. coming, more likely than not (75/25), undecided (50/50) and unlikely (25/75).

Proposed Program
Saturday 1000 Registration and welcome 1030 Rigging and tuning tips 1230 Lunch 1330 On water session 1630 Tea and review video 1700 On water session 1830 Review video
Sunday 1000 On water session 1030 Club Race start 1230 Lunch 1330 On water session race – starts etc. 1600 Tea 1630 Additional on water session, if required
Note all timings are approximate & subject to individual requirements and weather conditions
