I have just bought a second hand ISO and I am struggling to find good instructions about rigging the boat. I have seen the website scans and the photographs that someone kindly posted but I am sure I have not rigged the jib right although the improvised attempt I made was fine in a light breese. I have to specific details that I am unclear about - first what is the preferred mean of securing the Jib Head to the Halyard? Second how is the Halyard secured and tensionned at the base of the mast? Does anyone have any helpful pictures or materials they could share with me?

Hi Adam, Have you just brought our old boat, Bisotted (650)? We live in Bournemouth and so will be able to help you rig your boat. If you would like some help or a sail just let us know.

Barry - your old boat was 650 not 665!
Adamanda - ISO website. I think the section marked 'Help Guides' would be a very good starting point. The original rigging guide is in there as a zip file. Also loads of other tips and tweaks.

Pete, I saw the photos and instructions on the website which have answered a few questions but couldn't quite make out what I'm looking for re the jib. It could be that I have bought the boat with a slightly odd set up but I can't tell as yet.
Barry,
I am keeping the boat at Highcliffe SC so if you are in the area it would be great to get some 1st hand advice, not least out on the water. You can reach me on adamanda@ntlworld.com if you have the time.
