Could be waiting a while for it to warm up - up there in Dundee that is!

We look forward to receiving your membership application form and fully welcoming you to the class.

Just took the ISO out for the first time yesterday evening. Quite windy. Capsized in 5 seconds, before we even got the daggerboard in! Then capsized a few more times without going anywhere. Eventually got the main down while in the water, righted her and drifted to the shore on the jib! I see a steep learning curve ahead! A bit different from a fireball!

Perhaps one of you shouold have held the boat while the other at least located the dagger board before you set off!

I don't think it is that different to a fireball but I would suggest you pick a less windy day next time if you haven't sailed one before. At least until you have got a feel for the boat.

Ian.

Sounds like a bit of a traumatic time!

Have a look through the ISO Help guides on the website for advice. If the answers aren't there, then get back here onto the message board.

Missed an opportunity to plug training sessions there - Pete.

Maybe the two of them could fly down and then borrow a boat?
