The part behind the mast and either side of the daggerboard(in between the jib blocks) seems really "saggy" on my boat. I have also spotted some cracks in the gel coat, though don't look serious (they symmetrical either side).
I was watching the other day as the crew had his foot on that part of the deck, and it looked pretty soft indeed...is it normal? What's supposed to be under it? Has anyone had this problem before? Any ideas for repairs?

There is normally a small amount of give, but probably not as much as you mention, cracks in the gelcoat can sometimes appear and be harmless, however the one's you mention are probably caused by the movement.

I have witness deck movement before in a different area and not had any problems, perhaps best to just monitor it for a while to see if it gets worse.
