Hello All.

Two asks for the boat show.

1: We need some more help on the stand. Please contact me if you are available to help man the stand even if it is for half a day. This way we can put together some sort of rota, which means that we will always have enough people to help. Don’t worry about your knowledge or experience; in fact it is good for the class to have some newcomers on the stand as it stops it looking too elitist.

2: We would like to have a hand out of e –mail addresses of people who would be willing to do or arrange a test sail. This is a vital way of getting new people into the class. If we could get two e-mail addresses from each area that would be great. Who you let sail/crew your boat and under what conditions is obviously up to you even a joy ride might encourage someone.

The class needs you. The committee are working hard, but this is a great time for everyone to help.

Thanks

Rob

Still trying to get time off work to go to the show on the Saturday and will come back to you (if we can help both of my boys 15 and 13 would be available for some slightly 'younger' input if required)

Other wise happy to welcome anyone for a test sail (can provide crew or helm)on the East Coast (Felixstowe Ferry SC or inland Alton Water) although not that experienced. Contact jaquiandneil@tiscali.co.uk

Cheers

Neil

I can't offer any demo sails - lack of time, but I will be able to man the stand for both days (hopefully).

That is two people on the test sail list COME ON GUYS do we really have this little interest in the class there must be more people out there willing to take newcomers out for a sail in your boat.

So far for the boat show

Friday set up: Bruce, Lloyd, Rob and Barry

Sat: Bruce, LLoyd Rob and Barry

We could really do with more for all days apart from the set up. We have a number of free passes we just need your help even two hours would do if you know you are coming please let me know so we can put you down for a slot.

i will be there on the sat,
i would be happy to man the stand for a hour or two, show that 'youths' do and can sail the ISO. After all i was left with a good impression...

you never know i may even convince my club to buy one or two of them, so i can steal one to sail on the circuit in.

James
