Hi All
I'm glad those of you who came to Datchet seemed to enjoy yourselves, (having a cat sailing race officer obviously helped!). I'm also glad to report that we didn't seem to have any crews chained to the back of cars or dogs on boats!.
As some of you are aware, I was on the safety boatfor the event and using it as a test for sorting out a way of taking, displaying and then selling (for a small fee!) photos. I am getting there slowly - the datchet pics were put on display on picasa (googles gallery) a couple of days a go. To find the pictures - go to picasaweb.google.com, - put Datchet photos in the search box - amongst other pictures from the village of datchet, you will find the event pictures, they are split into 2 albums, day 1 and day 2, - click on one of the album cover pictures, that picture will open. - on the right hand side of the screen will be the option to - view album - click this. To upload the pictures I have had to reduce the pictures in size to 40 x 40%, and have protected them. This is as far as I have got at the moment! I want to number the pictures for ease of identification, set up a pay pal account so that people can purchase on line (they pay pay pal and send me an email ordering pics, I receive confirmation of payment and email out the full size pics) These bits are still being worked on! So at the moment if you would like any of the pictures, have a look at the albums, choose the pics you want, copy them back to me at datchetphotos@gmail.com and I will email the full size unprotected copies by return (ish!) along with an address for a cheque payment. I am asking £5 for the first pic, £8 for two, £10 for three, £12 for four and £2 for each additional picture. If you want a selection of up to 25 pics featuring your boat send me a small self addressed padded envelope along with a cheque for £22 I will send you all 25 on a DVD. Any questions, or if you get stuck, or if you have a mind boggling idea, then feel free to call me on 07973 321 377. If an official of the ISO association wants to use any of the pictures for "official" use then feel free to contact me and as long as I get a credit and a copy then you can have them free of charge. Regards Barry
