Is there any reason why we are not allowed to move the kite halyard cleat to in front of the centerboard case rather than in its standard awkward position of just in front of the mainsheet jammer?
If not allowed to move why not please?
Neil

you are not allowed to drill any more holes in the deck. The reason for this is the boat is reinforced in areas where fittings are located. so if you put the fitting elsewhere (in a logical place like near the front of the centerboard) then you may be drilling into 3mm of fibreglass.
