Does anybody protect the mainsail where it hits (downwind) the spreader ? Does it need protection for chafing ? If yes what do you use for it ?
Same questions for the battens where it hits (downwind) the rigging ? (I can see some wearing)

Hi John
My main has wear in these areas and my sail repair loft has applied circular patches to the sail (looks like very heave duty spinnaker tape).
The following picture is take from the buzz web site and show spreader end and batten patches:

I know the regular spinnaker tape but think it is not very thick. So I'am searching for the right tape to use. |

Hi,
I supply Blaze Sails with the circular patches applied, if you need any for your Buzz then I will order in for you, in fact I may do this anyway as it's obviously something that will be useful for others as well.
Having thought about it more I think i have one set available anyway that I purchased a few years ago, let me know if interested in them.
I also stock spinnaker tapes and other tapes.
