Medaway Regatta is 2 days 6 races on a tidal estuary. Some great racing and courses to enjoy, not your standard windward leeward! Rochester is only 5 mins away to give you an idea of roughly where in the country it is.The dates are the weekend before you all go to the eurocup to a good time to get some good practice in , lots of tacks and gybes. 1195 will be there and lloking to do the iso fleet proud, but the more the merrier. It would be nice to see some more iso's out and about doing these kinda open events.

Hi Josh

The dates are 19th and 20th of July. Look on the medway yacht club website for Nor

Last weekend was gusting 35 knots with some difficult chaotic waves to go thru. we would have won but put it in the drink when a wave knocked us in backwards just after the gybe! and we had the knackered old sails up!

A few corrections and more information on the event. The Medway Dinghy Regatta is run by Wilsonian SC on behalf of the Medway Yachting Association. It is the Wilsonian website that you need to go to for NOR and Entry Form (http://www.wilsoniansc.org.uk/). The are 4 races, 2 per day (with luch break between races). If you can't get there for both days you only have to pay for the races you enter - see entry form for fees. There is a BBQ on Saturday evening (£6 adult, £4 child).
Any class that has at least 12 paid entries before 17th July gets its own start. Any class with at least 6 entries before race 2 is eligble for class prizes.
Part of the car parking field will be sectioned off for free camping. There are links on the club website to other camping and accomodation websites.
