Just a quick plug for the September weekend in Shoreham.
A highly successful event was held for the Merlins and Fireballs last weekend, and you might want to take a look at some of the pictures

which gives an idea of some of the typical conditions at Shoreham. When the sea breeze kicks in, it's wonderful. And all this happens outside the harbour in open sea, but launching and recovery is nicely quiet inside.
If it's not already in your diary, stake your claim, and with the training on the Saturday, Sunday looks very promising. If nothing else, it's the next event in the Boss calendar, so let me know if anyone needs more information/encouragement

.........not forgetting the previous event in the BOSS and everyone else's calendar of Queen Mary SC on 28th and 29th August !

It's on the way to Shoreham for many of us ..... so see you there

I've just got back from Shoreham. Our Commodore wants to encourage as many asymetrics out for the Sunday meeting and has allowed me the use of the club facilities for training / practising on the Saturday.
