Pete and/or Bob - Can you advise on the number of boats you would need to undertake a training weekend in Yorkshire. We now have 3 ISO's at our club pus a couple of Buzzes and there are some others in the area who could maybe persuaded to venture across.

6 or 7 boats is ideal number, plus you need a rib, some clubs charge a lot for that so you would need to find that out.

Club (rough) costs for training at Yorkshire Dales SC would be as follows;
Rib Driver £50, Fuel £25, entry at £15 per boat, per day, the last wouldn't apply to club boats. Let me know what you think.

I haven't been able to sort this out yet as there is a problem in getting the use of a RIB for the training. If there is interest though I will follow it up.

Hi Mark and Alan,

Are you thinking about coming to the Herne Bay event in April? I appreciate its a fair trek for you but wheels are in motion to run some training over the weekend of the 11/12th then leave the boats at the club until the event on the 25/26th.

If you are interested see here:

Spaces are technically unlimited, we just need a minimum of 5 boats to run it.

Cheers
Alex

I think it's a bit far for me, hence trying to get something organised for northern boats
