Hi Steve, Bob, no worries.....most Swiss don't know where it is...
It is about 1 hour from Geneva or Lausanne. TAke the freeway north East to Neuchatel about half your way up to Neuchatel go left to vallorbe and you are about there ..very near the french boarder.

....Yes this event is held every year at about the same date. I am also the organiser of a new championship in Switzerland with 6 races. 4 on the lake of Neuchatel, one on the lake of Gruyère and the Vallée de Joux. It is open with a handicap system. we have about 15-25 boats ar every race. We'll double next year ! more on WWW.fvlj.ch/dériveurs

I am the only ISO on the race so far. Need your help to once and for all prove it's the best boat !!! (!!!!!! hihi)

Hi Marc

Please keep us up to date on your asymmetric events - it's the best way of trying to get people to attend.

Some of the French ISOs and a couple of German ones are fairly close to you - as well as the Italians just the other side of the mountains.

Let me have your e-mail address - can put you in touch with other European ISOs including the Swiss ones we know about. My e-mail address is published in the Committee section.

Cheers

Bob

Hi Bob!

138 boats this year. Winner: a 49er then a bunch of 505 then just about every asymetric you know and 470.
2 Iso were there ranking 25 and 35.

you'll find the details on www.cnvj.ch

I am the promoter of a new dinghy championship with mostly asymetrics. 6 races are held from may to august on the lake of Neuchatel.
We had a great year with 3-6 BF at every race and were between 15 and 25 boats. Next year looks promising. We ve done a heavy promotion now that we know that the clubs are keen.

Good idea to put me in touch with the other guys. My e-mail: marcb@dplanet.ch

Best regards

Marc
