I have been asked by several people now for training events for this year. So we will have one in the North Yorkshire Dales area and one at Calshot , south coast. dates are yet to be agreed but will be sometime during July and August. Training will consist of boat setup to the individual person sailing it , a few tricks shore based to help you with the maneouvres and a lot of camera boat stuff on the water plus any questions you still have unaswered, The event will be over 2 days so know doubt beer will also be involved. Myself or Pete will be running these courses. If you are interested in attending please could you state your name and north or south and month you can attend if you can attend both months then please state. This is a non profit making training session so the costs will be as low as as we can make them! Neil 1195 |

I would appreciate it when you guys give it a thought to organise some training in Stralsund, just before the europeans start. Just like last year in Italy.
Cheers, Diederik |

Hi If you want to come to the training Calshot, then we can sort out camping at the Club. It may be possible to B&B in the Centre at Calshot, if they have space. Or there is B&B a couple of miles away. Beer is close by, with good pub grub or BBQ at the Club. If we can sort the date close to the open then if may be possible to leave boats at Calshot so you can be at both events. More later. Dave

Yes please! Calshot suits us perfectly and, timing wise, I'd say the earlier the better so we can enjoy newly learned skills throughout the season.
Let's pray for better weather this year!

Training at Calshot won't be happening this year due to either the club being busy or there being no water.
There are or were plans for training at Herne Bay on the 11th & 12th April (this coming weekend) but no body seemed interested.

If there is interest, we can still go for it.

Pete
I will have to duck out now. As nothing had been mentioned for a while, I hadn't made plans and with crew and kid to organise around it's to late notice for me.
Would love another training session though this year, as last year did wonders for us. The boat now at least stays upright for the main part of our day!!!
Thanks
