Presumably when the new sails development took place a masthead kite must have been thought about but quite rightly dissmissed so as not to split the fleet however does anyone know of another class kite which would be the correct size for this to try on a "just for fun" basis?

Greg a rs 800 kite is the same size in sqmtrs but i think it is narrower and taller so that might fit.The only problem i dont think your mast would last very long! The maast was never designed to have that amount of leverage that high up and with no cap or upper tensioners it would proably last one gybe in a force 3 and above.
Now if you changed the base plate on a rs800 mast to fit an iso now your talking
trouble is the masts would be worth more than our boats! be quick thou, bloody quick
