I would like to thank everyone for the bottle of Scotch presented to me on Monday - and the kind words from Pete. It's always good to know when one is going up the beat the right way !

I'm very pleased indeed to have been able to make a contribution to the Class and everyone's pleasure over the last two years. It's been a lot of fun and I look forward to continuing to build the fleet over the next 12 months.

As I've said before, nothing happens just through the efforts of one person. It happens with a team working together - not necessarily agreeing all the time, which we don't.

I've been privileged to work with an excellent team on the Committee who discuss things constructively and then do a really professional job by doing what they say they will do, when they say they will do it - which is just great.

Many thanks to everyone for their support.

I only said what everybody at the event (and those who weren't), were and are thinking Bob!

It is a team effort I agree, but without someone such as yourself heading the committee, we would just keep deliberating more and more without actually getting anything done!!

Fair enough the committee don't get it right all the time, but as you keep reminding us, at least we are prepared to have a go and try to do things right. If it goes not exactly to plan, we all take note for next time. We are all volunteers and definately don't claim to be professionals in this field!
