When attempting to replace my snapped tiller this week, (Which as you would expect has snapped where it joins the top stock) I found that after drilling the rivots out the snapped piece would not come away from the top stock. It appears to be bonded by years of corrousion! Has anyone any thoughts on what might budge it? |

I presume you mean the broken bit of tube is stuck to the casting ??
If so, the best bet is going to be to split it along the remaining length and just prize it off. Avoid the large hammer approach - castings break rater easily.
Try putting it in a vice and tap a screwdriver or old chisel. Hit the tube hard enough to cut it.
WD40 sometimes works but can have a limited effect (none) on ally oxide.

If all fails i have a couple of spare Buzz tillers. The cast part is the same as on the ISO so you could either have a short tiller tube, or fit your new tiller tube to the Buzz cast part. Hope that helps . . .

Thanks Stuart, I'll try that and let you know...
How much would you want for one of them?
