Hi

I notice in the Notice of Race it mentions measurements as follows:

6.2 Measurement and inspection: Friday 26th August from 1600 to 1900hrs and Saturday 27th August from 0800 to 1100hrs entirely at the discretion of, and organised by, the appropriate Class Associations.

7 MEASUREMENTS
7.1 Each boat shall produce a valid measurement certificate.

I have never heard of measurements at a Buzz event so the question is, is this something we need to be concerned about? If not how does item 7 apply, if so what/how/when etc????

Look forward to hearing your thoughts

Cheers
Jane

I doubt very much that we will be measuring Buzzes. If someone really tries to push the boundaries of legality, then I guess a protest will follow!
I wouldn't worry about it. I think most measures in the Buzz class are of a liquid nature from the bar.

Your membership certificate is also a measurement certificate. Topper as only supplier control dimensions and consistency of parts and boats.
