When you begin feeling hungry, sit for a second and try to determine if there is an emotion rather than a physical sensation that you are interpreting to be hunger. Are you perhaps feeling sad, anxious, lonely, unloved and unsupported? If you are, then that is what I want you to think about. Focus on the emotion and journal about it. Write exactly what you are feeling and keep writing until you understand that you are not physically hungry, that food is not what you crave.
