There seems to be a difference between the NOR on the Restronguet website and the Buzz NOR. For Buzzes if 44.1 and 44.2 are infringed is only one turn required? Anyone know? |

Hi - Interesting - and probably one for the Race Officer briefing. Penny& I did Falmouth week and the event was a single turn for boat and mark bumps - only trouble was nobody did their turns!

The NoR that I have states clearly that the one turn amendment only applies to the Hobies (because they are cats and can't turn quickly!). The SI's make no mention of any amendment to 44.1 or 44.2.
Still, best to bring up at skippers meeting on Saturday.
See you at Falmouth. |

Its not really up to the race officer to make people do there turns! Thats up to the people on the water and if not the protest committee. There is some sailing instructions now on the Restronguet SC website. The course is different from all those cats so we should be ok! |
