Hi guys

I've just bought 346 off Ratface. When I was first looking for a boat I downloaded the first (rigging) chapter of the manual from the now defunct Spice website. Does anybody have a .pdf of the full manual or the full text from the old website? I guess a copy would save me a few head scratching moments (and possibly swims).

Thanks

Hi.

We bought a Spice a month or so ago, minus a few important parts!! If you need any photos or advise on any of the rigging we should be able to help, just send us an email at bailey.stu@btinternet.com. We don't have a copy of the original manual.

It's nearly ready to race now, as with you we bought it just for fun. We also have a Buzz which we use for the open meetings so we weren't worried about fleet racing with it. However, we do intend to take it to some of the TASA events so if you fancy racing another Spice come along!!

Hi there, I don't have an electronic version of the manual but may well have an original hand written version (photo copy)(may take some finding). We are looking at a bit of a get together on the 17th of may 2008 at datchet to compare boat set ups, blast up and down a lot, swap crews and helms (possibly), and have some fun, and may be a beer after

Jim

Ps chapter 2 is all about swimming

Hi

I've only just found replies to this post, thanks for the info re- manuals, I think I've pretty much sorted the boat now (for blasting, at least) If I do turn up a manual in electronic format I'll post it here. I doubt I'll get to any events this year (and probably not very far south ever, though it would have been great to meet up at Datchet for a sail/chat/drink). If you're interested in how a skiff newcomer is coping see my other post in the News and General Information "new to skiffs")

cheers

Chas
