Hi, I'm looking for a reasonably priced Buzz dinghy - around £1500ish (or cheaper would be great). We have never sailed a Buzz before but think it might be the best, and most affordable single trapeze double hander that suits our weight distribution (light). We want a boat in reasonably good condition, without anything major needing attention. It needs to be in the south somewhere - we can collect but only within the Hampshire/Dorset and nearby areas. Anyone know of anything suitable? Also, as we have never sailed one of these before, where would be the best place to get some tips, either on the water, or off it? Thanks, Helen.

Training weekend next weekend at King George SC, or at the events on the race circuit - definitely the best places to get tips.

Helen,

My boat 1025 is currently up for sale at £1,900 - see post dated 26 March. However I am open to offers. The boat is all ready to go and in very good condition so does not need any work. The boat is at Whiteley just off junction 9 of the M27 so I think it is quite close to you. Let me know if you would like to come and have a look.

Ian

Hi Helen

I have a Buzz for sail, Number 892, advertised for £1600 - but would accept £1500 - if no delivery involved.

The boat is currently advertised on the Buzz Web site - it is in good condition and is currently located in Netley Abbey, 5 minutes from Weston Sailing Club.

Let me know if you are interested.

Regards

Chris

Hi Helen. Not wishing to inundate you with adverts, but I also have a Buzz located in Netley Abbey (nr Southampton) for sale. It is advertised for £1350 but I would accept £1100. The main sail needs repairing or replacing but otherwise the boat is in good condition. Reason for the sale is that I want a smaller boat to sail with my 6 year old daughter. Feel free to call or email me as per the info in the classifieds section for the Buzz 468. All the best with your search. Kieran
