Can anyone give me any tips on what products to use to reproof a spinnaker. There was a thread, but it was wiped off after the server failiure a few months ago. |

Fabsil is the stuff people use, buy from camping shops in a tin. It's a faff as you need to apply with a brush across the whole kite. Won't make it crinkly but should make it repel some water for a while. A job for a windless sunday i guess! |

Do both sides of the spinni need to be done or can you get away with just reproofing one side? |

If the cloth is so nackered that it actually soaks up the fabsil, then you probably only need do one side, but if you find you're coating the kite rather than it soaks it up, two sides might be necessary. |
