We weren't going to do this TASA event anyway, but we hope to do some of the others in the Spice later this year, hopefully we'll have a complete boat by then!!

Were based in Cheltenham so Draycot Datchet or Chew are all fairly close to us, but i would need to check weather we can day sail at the respective clubs, or the south coast?

We're at Down SC in Kent for an open in the Buzz on the Sat and Sun so would struggle to get much further than Datchet for the Monday. You're welcome to join us on the Medway otherwise.

Hi, If you choose to come to chew, i would be happy to provide specific rescue cover, take pictures, even set up some racing for you etc and then if you wanted you could take part in the club racing on the sunday.

Broadstairs is a bit out of the way for us so it would be good if a few of us can make it, will speak with senior management and check availability.

Ok dokey, otherwise Datchet or somewhere in that sort of area would be fine for us on the 17th May. Queen Mary maybe another option, or Oxford SC, both not too far away from you and viable for us too.

Stuart and Zoe.
Spice 348, very clean now but still in need of some parts!!

Hello - I've just stumbled across this forum thread. I have a Spice living at Datchet, but no towbar, so have not taken it touring. If you end up having a gathering at Datchet on the 17th then I will try to join you.
The club also owns a Spice, so if 348 is not yet complete then it might be possible to find another Spice for you for the day...

We won't be unfortunately, we were waiting to find out about what we have to do to be able to do day sailing there and are now planned to do a duty at our club which is a pain!!

I think maybe a TASA event or Pete's training day (at Datchet) would be good options, everything is organised for us then so all we have to do is turn up!!
