I had to sail single-handed in my Buzz recently for the first time. (Crew was needed to lay the course) The only problem was the tiller extension which had suddenly shrunk!
Now that I know I can do it - even got the kite up and down - I want to get a telescopic tiller extension so I can get out on the trapeze.
Wet and Windy have a large range of extensions, but I don't see any telescopic ones. Will any extension fit? What advice can you give me?

Wet and Windy do have telescopic extensions. Phone them up if you can't see what you want.
Pretty much any tiller extension will fit and I believe are all class legal but be aware there are at least two different types of fitting/joint so it is worth buying one with the same fitting as you current extension so you can interchange them.
You can get carbon telescopic extensions too that are a bit pricy but are very light and have the advantage that they don't bend when you sit on them. Particularly useful if you want it to carry on being telescopic!

i got a telescopic extension from wet and windy, and any holmes will be able to point you in the right direction as to which one is decent. i think that a telescopic extension is about £50, but i managed to get one sencond hand for a bit less. |
