Following the change of date and venue, how many Buzz's are planning to make it to Datchet in two weeks time? Only mention of Stuart Buzz 1027 so far. Is it worth travelling to?

Hi Lester,

Turn out may not be as good as hoped due to the date change but as well as me there are likely to be 2 or 3 more from the Medway as well as from the Portsmouth area, 1 or 2 normally turn up from Deal as well for this event (come on Pete and Annie!!).

Anyway, who is or isn't coming for definate?? Let us know to give us an idea of expected entrants!! This is the last event of the year so hopefully we'll have a good number of Buzzes (and ISO's) turning up.

Stuart.

We will be at Datchet - probably near the back of the fleet!

Heads - ISO, Tails - Buzz.

The weather is irrelevant for myself - force 7 and the ISO will still win me over, but I think that 'er indoors might have summat to say about that!

Buzz 847 is planning to come up from Langstone for a little shouting practice. Is it expected to blow like on all my previous vists to Datchet?

Fingers are crossed for a good blow. Long time since we had a really good blast around a pond.

I have no idea of the forecast however.

Well i'm quite up for a nice force 5 to 6 but i'm not sure that Hannah is!! The forcast i've seen is for about a F2 on Saturday followed by a F3 on Sunday. Don't think i've ever experienced Datchet in anything less than a F5!!

Shame it looks like i've got to go home for the Saturday night for work! Another first for Datchet may be sailing Sunday morning without any hint of a hangover!

Stuart.

Hi
This was another good event altough a little more wind would have been nice. A report for this event is now on Y&Y website and soon there will be a link to this from the Buzz website in the usual place ('events' page). If you can't wait visit
http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/?article=19468.

Cheers
