Any one got any tips on what kind of rope to use for the continous kicker?
Just spent several hours trying to splice two ends of a prestretched braid on braid rope together with no sucess, managed to splice the inner braid ok, but not enough slack in the outer to thread a needle through.
Cheers

Hi Rich,
Try not splicing it together, but sewing it together instead. Much easier and when you use strong enough thread it doesn't give a problem (at least not to me so far)

If you stitch the pre-stretch together, then you cannot allow this joint into the system as it will fail.
If you splice dyneema properly, then this can be allowed into the kicker systema and it will take the full load with no problem.
