Is it not possible for the boss class to approach Rondar boats like the Iso class, in hope that they would produce new bosses? If they can do it why cant we? who is responsable for approaching boat builders ? |

How do we go about approaching a boat builder ? who would do it ? what are the rules with regards to the boat design ? I dont mind doing some work and contacting some builders if someone gives me some guidance! |

The way the ISO and Buzz moulds have gone from Topper to Rondar is by way of W&W becoming the new Licencee - and buying the moulds from Topper.

I don't want to appear negative, but who is looking for a new Boss, when you can pick up a good boat for considerably less? I don't think any builder would take on the task with second-hand prices at £1,000. The builders are in it for the money, not for the love of it (except maybe Hartley but I don't think he'd be interested) Let's get some existing Bosses on the water before we start down that road |

Maybe you should just address the supply issue problem?

Nevertheless, I reckon Team BOSS could do with addressing the security of the moulds for at least the foils and smaller parts. Ensuring the hull moulds are kept in good order somewhere seems like a good move.
Never say never - someone may want a new hull sometime and be prepared to put in the time and effort to make one.
