We've mooved 755 to the fresh water of Datchet for the winter; anyone else going to come and play?

You regualar Datchet guys; can you let me know dates and times for winter racing. Were going to try to do some as well as trying to get some practice in. A bit of tuition wouldn't go amiss.

Oh dear me and Iain had our first swim today.
Imagine this twin wiring on a river with the kite up absolutly flying then we went behind a tree teabaged and over ontop of us. According to Charlie it looked allot like the boss blunders but without the pitchpole

Boss 744 was going out yesterday until we found that our main had gone missing from the boat... I suppose thats what happens when you don't use it for a year. However, once we get ourselves sorted out we hope to be fairly regular.

Me and Iain have had ours since the end of october and I have noticed that there are a few bosses around. What can we do to organise and event i know that we could get 3 possibly 4 if anouther friend of ours gets one (Owain he has posted a wanted post classified section).

I think that we need to make an effort to try and get the class up again. From what I read there are a few people that want to race so lets do it. Does any one have a club with a large expance of water that we can set up a boss event at????? We could have it on the river but we struggle with 2 as it is plus it's crap unless the wind blows form the side.

Any one got any views Charlie I know you have and Iain when he wakes up to post.

Always happy to try and help over at KGSC - North London for those that don't know - just give me a call if you want to come and play - Saturday and Sunday up to Xmas. Sunday only Jan through end March - unless you want to arrange a BOSS special..... KGSC location, calendar and contacts on www.kgsc.org.uk

But as you have MikeP and Team Murray over at Datchet to be honest that's a bigger expanse of water for the BOSS.

Cheers

Bob

yaaaawwwn just as I was thinking of hibernating. Oh well, I suppose that new mast will need some tuning. What's the programme for winter at Datchet?

Also Batt sails do all our BOSS and 49er sail repairs (very very good quality). They operate out of the Dinghy Store at Datchet so minimal effort needed from your part (reasonable pricing as well!!!)
