Buzz and ISO sailors will be pleased to hear that recent problems with supply of spares will soon be a thing of the past. Andy Holmes of The Wet and Windy Company has now successfully secured the licence for the boats from Topper, and as of 23 November will have acquired all Topper's remaining stock, including some masts, booms and sails.

We have already been working hard for some time towards securing a plentiful supply of all the spares at reasonable prices, particularly sails, masts and booms. Sails are expected in January 2007 (!), by which time it is expected all other spares will also be sourced.

We are also delighted to report that Rondar Boats will be building a new Buzz and ISO in time for the Dinghy show, and considering the very favourable write-up on the ISO (test vs Laser 4000) in November's Dinghy Sailing magazine, we're confident there will be renewed interest in both classes.

We will keep the website informed of progress and your comments and constructive feedback would be appreciated.
Andy Holmes

A warm welcome to the whole Wet & Windy team.

We're delighted to have W&W as the new licencee. As most people know, Andy has been working extremely hard for all 4 Classes for many years giving us all support above and beyond the call of duty.
We look forward to that support continuing in the best interests of all sailors, chandlers, manufacturers and of course Wet and Windy.

The Tech Committees of both ISO and Buzz fleets have already been working hard with Andy to help source spares including sails and spars. We will be able to bring further news on these aspects in due course once extensive testing and commercial discussions are complete.

Here's to a bright future for all 4 Classes working in partnership with Wet and Windy.

Bob

Is it time for a formal communication via the web sites or are some things still being finalised?

I intend to next update the Buzz site on2 January 07. It would be good to have a communication ready...

Please advise
