Hi John I noticed that no one replied to your enquiry about training. I have just brought an ISO and managed to sail it ok but have major problems when trying to use the kite. I could benefit from a training weekend even if it would only be to see if I have rigged it right any additional training would be a bonus. I might even be interested in attending some opens if I was a bit better. Is there any body out there? Paul |

I agree that it is sometimes good to have training without the potential of the stress of competition but.........we are new (ish) owners and have been to one open event and will be doing more. Like a lot of new owners we have spent a lot of time having fun but also spending a bit of time in the water rather than on it ! The help and advice at the open meeting was really good and at least showed us what we should be doing in terms of boat set up and sailing it...all we have to do now is practice, hopefully at more meetings. We are certainly looking to do the Nationals. Try to make one of the events because you will find it really useful, even if you come last in every race (we did) everyone is there to help......my advice is just go for it !
Cheers

Hi
Pete normally sorts the training but is currently out of action with a broken arm, and also very busy organising his wedding. I have heard only good things about his training and would suggest that you get in contact with him. If Pete is not available or would like a hand Barry and I would be willing to run some training we don't quite have the same results as Pete but would be able to get you going. The guys at Calshot seemed keen to hold a training event, but are you willing to travel?
I would suggest that with the euro cup and nationals coming up training before September is a bit optimistic.
