Hello all

All exsisting members should by now have recived your membership renewal pack for 2006. Please Please Please fill the forms in and sort your new direct debit out.

If you are not an Iso member please join now so you get a whole years membership, it will also save us doing to much work mid season.

We have recived two forms for the win a bottle of Champaign compertition so get those forms to us as the odds are good. Barry and I would hate to be the only two in the draw. Anyone going to the dinghy show can drop the entry for of there.

Look forward to seeing you all soon.

Rob and Barry.

Might have your £20, but the fees were upped at the last AGM to £30.

I thought there was a post regarding this, but obviously not.

Pete

Hello Mike and everyone else,

Pete is correct in pointing out the membership has gone up to £30 by direct debit or £35 by cheque. You should all have received a letter informing you of this, along with the new mandate form and a competition entry form.

I checked to see if we sent you one Mike, and we have. However, if it hasn’t reached you please accept our apologies and send us a cheque for the balance.

If anybody else has not received our letter please print off a direct debit mandate from the web site and take it to your bank. Alternatively you can contact us and we will send you one, or send us a cheque for this year and set your direct debit up for next year.

The database of current and old members, which we are working from, .is not quite as together as we would like and this is the reason for any confusion. Therefore bear with us while we sort things out. We may later in the year contact you all to try an update everybody’s information, SO THAT PEOPLE WHO HAVE MOVED HOUSE CAN LET US KNOW OF THEIR NEW ADDRESS – PETE!

I hope this answers everybody’s questions but if not email Barry or me. Our email addresses can be found on the committee page.

Look forward to seeing you all at Oxford with your membership stickers.

At the beginning of February, Rob and I sent out a friendly reminding to members regarding the increase in the membership fees.

We used all of the information available, when we took over the membership role. In total, 134 letters were sent out including a new standing order form and a 'win a bottle of champaine' competition entry form asking each member to let us know about the location of any other ISO's that they know about, to enable us to build a datebase, regarding boat location.

The information we have received so far regarding members altering their standing orders, is not looking great, so we have loads more work to do chasing the balances due.

Therefore, if anybody has not received this pack, please either email me or Rob on barrynewport@tiscali.co.uk, advising me of your details and boat number, so that we can update our records.

Please could any members who have realised that they have not amended their standing order, please send a cheque for the difference to Barry Newport @ 19 Homeside Road, Bournemouth, BH9 3EJ, made payable to 'ISO Class Assosiation'. This would be most appreciated.

Many thanks

Barry & Rob 650 membership secretaries.
