Already mentioned by the Pie Man in another thread, but.... one for your diary should be Shoreham, 14th July for Asymm Open (3 short races), then 15th for a long distance race to Black Rock (off Brighton Marina, a tad over 7 miles each way). It's a real blast if there's a decent breeze (I think we have the monohull record for doing the return leg in half an hour, a few years back).

For those who haven't been before, Shoreham is on the Sussex coast between Brighton and Worthing - real sea sailing, but you launch from inside the harbour, not off a beach.

I'm about to mail TASA to try and get it in their listing, too.

Hey, why don't we turn it into a Nationals, and score double points for the long-distance race? Maybe that would add some interest for the press?

OK, let's see some Bosses at this one - we do have two already here for starters. I've had calls from the 5-tonners expressing interest. That could add to the amusement! With other TASA classes hopefully joining in, here's a chance for the Boss to shine once again.
