A date for your diaries - Saturday 10th September. Shoreham S C will be hosting their one day Asymmetric Open - all are welcome. The first start will probably be around noon, with 2 or 3 races back to back. Visit us to sample the delights of Shoreham S C. Sailing / Racing at all atates of tide with sheltered launcing and recovery, not available elsewhere on the southeast coast. Competitors are welcome to make a weekend of it and join in with club racing on the Sunday. For details about Shoreham S C go to www.shorehamsailing.org |

Just to confirm - the first start will be at 12.30, and we plan to hold 3 races, back to back, on windward/leeward courses. For those who don't know, the club is on Shoreham Beach, on the Sussex coast between Worthing and Brighton. It's easily reached from the main coast road, the A27. Look forward to seeing you! I'll be away in Australia in the 3 weeks before the open, so in case of queries contact either Mike (as above) or our asymmetric class captain Geoff McTaggart at jeff@dlsltd.co.uk or on 01273 591257.
All best, and hope to see you. Peter Bennett (SSC Sailing Sec and Boss 812)

We went to this event last year. Unfortunately the wind was pants - but Shoreham is a very well organised club on and off the water.
Looking at the diary for this year. |
