We've received the application (with ISO colleagues) for the Show in 2007 at Alley Pally. I believe we should put on a particularly strong showing - ideally with a brand new boat - and possibly followed up by the wet show at Datchet in early may. What we need first of all are volunteers to set up and man the Dinghy Show stand Friday night through to Sunday evening close...

Stuart will approach topper and see if we can have a new boat on display, best to check nearer the time to see what they have.(Or will polish stuarts boat for him

Yes - we'd be keen too help in some way - either in March or May (or both??). Do we know actual dates in May for the Datchet event?
Also do we know of any provisional dates for events (multi-gal's etc) next year yet - I'll try and ensure our club avoids putting any exciting races on those week-end and that my reli's know to avoid them if planning family events!!!

Greetings All - Just a big thank you to Bob (the Builder) Ladell for building a great display stand - The presentation of the new ISO & Buzz at this years show looked really professional....Thanks also to Andy H and Matt for getting the boats ready...and to all the 'volunteers' who helped set up and wo)man the stands over the weekend....its really good to have such support..
Lastly but by no means least - thanks to all those great Buzz people who stopped by and said 'Hi!' - we hope to see you all at event soon!! |
