Doesnt look as though Hannah and I will be able to make it I'm afraid Roger.

Hannah has to work on Saturday and so its all going to get rather to much of a rush.

Sorry

I think the racing starts around 11am on Sunday - I'll get the programme for the whole wekend and post it later this week.

There will be plenty of advice and help on hand all weekend - at least 4 Buzzes fresh from the European Championships at La Rochelle will be there!

As far as camping goes - I've reserved 5 plots for the Buzz fleet so there should be plenty of space. Otherwise you can call Roadford on 01409 211507 to book your own.

Drexions for those coming to Roadford...
Roadford Lake is signposted (Brown) off A30 circ 10 miles west of Okehampton - small slip - don't miss it. If you get to Launceston you've gone too far!
Follow signs - right back over the A30 - you will see the Dam dead ahead and Tea Centre (off to RHS). Drive across dam and round to Sailing Centre about a mile further on (a right turn).
Tent plots are booked in front field overlooking the lake adjacent to catamaran park. If you check into the office say you're with the Buzz Fleet as part of the Goodacre Cup w/e and that Roger & Penny will sort everything out with Ross or John. We will be there from about 7pm Friday. Come on down - we'll have a great time!

Just a quick note to thank Penny and Roger for inviting all the Buzzes down for the bank holiday week-end to Roadford reservoir. The club was very welcoming with 2 races each day and for entertainment hosted 2 B-B-Q's in their fabulous new shelter, a quiz, a cream team (Mmmmm, what else in Devon - worth the travelling just for this) + optional ISIS (approx 22 ft yacht type boats) match racing and on-site camping. Fantastic.

9 buzzes joined in the racing at various stages of the week-end in very challenging conditions; Staurt and Zoe took the honours with firsts in all their races to count - look out for the report on the Buzz website in the next few days.

Thanks again - hopefully same time, same place next year???

Great to see everybody at Roadford last weekend, and thank you again to all those who turned up for helping make it so successful.

Loads of photos were taken of all the blasting (and the capsizing!) so we will distribute as soon as possible.

See you all at Langstone!
