Disaster, big bend in the new mast first time out...ouch! Won't bore you with the details..So that means we've got to rig the old bare one we picked up just in case and I'm looking for any tips on running the halyards through without the old ones to tie too.
Fishing line and weights or something similar is the best we've got. Patience rather tha some clever trick is going to be needed I suspect.

Get hold of a reel of ordinary mains earth wire - the yellow and green stuff ( or similar ).
Use that as a fish to get through inside the mast - 10 min job.
Bob
And depending on just how big a bend - you might be able to "bounce" it back straight enough with a LOT of patience and two chairs / tables. You know the technique ??
