Checking the boat prior to the season I noticed the space frame is split from the bolt hole to the end of the tube on the aft port side. It all feels solid still and I guess must have been like that for some time. Any thoughts? should I replace it and if so is there a good replacement out there?

I experienced the same issue on ISO 555 spaceframe. This is due to corrosion.

I fixed it by stripping the paint down to the aluminum from the frame (I did the complete frame as I wanted to check if corrosion affected integrity of other spots of the frame. I then stratified a few layers of fiberglass around the tube. After sanding and finishing with polyester paste, I re-painted with a primer for aluminum and then grey single component yacht paint. I can send picture if you would like to.

It looks like new. I did this three seasons ago and did not notice any problem with this repaired frame.

Alternatively, I believe Wet & Windy has frames on stock (expensive though!).
