This looks good, and we have put it in our diary. Is there any support for using Sailboat Deliveries, they support several other class regattas in Europe? I suspect that we may need to talk to them soonish to get into their schedule.

I may be able to help raising the number of boats to be transported and/or generate other opportunities for sailboatdeliveries once they are here (i was thinking that once unloaded your boat the may go to Rome and get the fleet we have there...) thus reducing the price...

Sue and I will be sailing at the Europeans and would be interested in sharing a double stacker or using Sailboat deliveries as we wish to take our caravan.
If anybody is interested please can they reply to this and we can make arrangements. We are only a short distance away from Dover so it should not be a problem in meeting up.

Hi all

I have a double stacker at my club in Broadstairs that can be used to take ISO's to the Europeans. If anybody is interested in taking the double stacker with their and our ISO on it please reply to this message. We are only half an hour from the port at Dover and would be willing to pay for the privalage of having our boat taken down to Italy in order that we can take our caravan and extend our stay. Various arrangements could be considered to effect the loading and unloading of boats.

Thanks
Ben and Sue

I think we are going to be taking a 4 stacker trailer to the euro cup we have to finalise a few things, insurance and such like but if you are interested there should be two spaces avalable.

Thanks Rob and Barry 1022

I have been talking to Tony Ainsworth who runs a dinghy delivery business. He has quoted a price for 6 boats for £395 per boat, or if we can get 7 the price comes down to £355 per boat, that will be 6 on his trailer and one on the roof. With 2 spaces reserved already (949 and 641) that means he should have 5 places left at £355! I agreed to post the deal on the website to see what level of support there would be. Hopefully with Rob and Barry's offer there should be enough capacity for both ISO and Buzz sailors who do not want to drive! We have a few weeks to take up the offer so there is no panic! Any takers?

Thanks, Dave and Andrew ISO 949

Hi Rob

Me and Peter would be interested in you taking our boat to Italy as we need to go straight to a wedding in Gurnsey on the way back and don't want to be taking the boat as well. I guess Peter will e mail you later.

I did feel that it was a good excuse to remind people thought and add the link . . .

Hi Stuart
If I can call my ISO a Buzz, then you will have some more competition and maybe you will not win again.!!!
If all else fails I will have to get my set of Hyde's out my loft and try to beat Rob and Barry.
Does any one want to swap a set of Hyde's for my brand new set of Sobstads, (please)
Dave

Regarding the campsite: camping Lido is the closest to the sailing club and boat park (50 meters), you can book at http://www.boschettoholiday.it/lido/pages_ita/booking_eng.htm
However the other campsite is just 500 meters away, so it shouldn't be a problem meeting the rest!

Let me know if I can be of any help. It's my home club!

Technical Question for the class guru.
Since I began setting up the collaterals, I'm interested to know if ISO/Buzz sailors also drink red wine or if they like only beer....

10th July is the deadline for cheap entry.

"UK competitors only: Entries may be sent to: Steve Bell, 30 Avon Way, London, E18 2AR, E-mail:
steve 'at' stephenrbell 'dot' com - (£116 before 10th July or £135 after 10th July, payable to ISO Class Association) – no later than 15th July."

Entry Form on this page:

I believe this applies to the Buzz class also? Steve / Bob / Marco, please confirm that the Buzz sailors pay "The ISO Class Assn" or "The Buzz Class Assn" who then sends all monies on mass.
