I understand that carbon booms are now allowed, but wanted to make sure the one I get is class legal. If I get a carbon section of the same diameter and length as the original and with the strops and kicker in the correct positions, is there anything else I need to do to be sure it is class legal?

Rules 2004 spell out what is currently legal - which today is the Superspars boom being the only one approved by the Tech Committee..... from whom I anticipate some news of their winter work soon ...
