Hello "Buzzers",
I have the Buzz now for a year and sail it most of the time Single-handed, great fun too. There is only one thing, my daggerboard wil go up 10/15 cm. in a turn or in very light weather. (i think it wil fell out in a "capsize")
How can a prevent this?

Follow the class rules and tie it to the boat using elastic.

Yes, as Pete says, tie a piece of elastic to the rope daggerboard handle and the other end of the elastic to somewhere near the bottom of the mast, under the jib sheet and spinnaker sheet of course. This will prevent the daggerboard lifting on its own and falling out during a capsize.

Prepare early by undoing the elastic.
Or
Get a crew. |

Hello Roy,
this message is just to make you aware that there are more Buzz sailors in NL. I got my Buzz late last year and am sailing in the area of Rotterdam. Maybe there is an opportunity to meet? Please let me know.
