Huge congratulations to Marco, Paolo, Deborah and the whole UVM Team for putting on a superb ISO / Buzz Eurocup with a truly European attendance from not only Italy and the UK but also Germany and Holland.

Seeing 23 ISOs and 9 Buzz's filling the Maggiore horizon made a memorable week for which the Italian Team fully deserve all the credit and take full pride in the achievement. Very well done all !!

It was wonderful to see so many old friends from our previous trips to Garda and to meet new friends - and rivals !! Many thanks to everyone for supporting the event and making it thoroughly enoyable on and off the water.

Roll on the next one

Bob

I started emailing Marco about running this year's event about a year ago, with the intention of having the first proper Eurocup and not just Brit's on holiday. Thanks for all your efforts Marco.
I am pleased it turned out so well, and also that the Brit's didn't have it all their own way.
Sadly, without a crew for a year now, I am considering selling the Yellow Peril and giving up sailing.

Just got home, after a tour across Europe. Definately an excellent event very well organised with some great sailing. Being able to camp within 100 meters of the launch area was a great plus for the event and I look forward to sailing there again. Very big thatns to Marco, Paulo and Deborah and the club for making it possible.

Just got back with 2 wheels on my wagon.

Thanks Marco for the loan of the ISO for the week after. I managed to rig up a couple of blocks on the boom and it worked fine. Left them on as a thank you for the loan of the boat.

Would be a great place to go back again next year as the location, the hospitality and the organistaion were excelent.

As per all comments above - Excellent organisation, venue, racing......
Well done Marco, Paolo, Deborah, and everybody else involved. Thanks to Paolo for helping us with our accommodation i.e. booking it for us!

Can we go back again or maybe another venue for the Eurocup/Europeans maybe - south of France on the coast?

Anybody got any photo's of the prize giving?

Pete

A huge thank you to all involved in the running of the Euro Cup. What a fantastic time we had. And thank you to everyone, you made us feel very welcome, helping us out with set up tips etc. Also Bob and Luke for their 'personal' attention on the way back from the last race! Sandy jumped into Bob's boat( and was gone for some time!) and Luke into mine, much to learn but that's half the fun! Many great memories, not least piling into Rosalinde's bar for a 'Splugen'at the end of the day! Brilliant stuff!

Hi to everybody, I just ot back from vacations and I just saw your messages...
I had a great fun as well, I hope you're having the same fun atthe nationals in these days.I noticed that Paolo already forwarded your request for Hi-res photos to the photografer. regarding next year I'm sure Maccagno would be happy to host the EC again next year, personally, as Pete suggest, I would prefer that every year the fleet will move to a different country (France, South coast or La rochelle will sound excellent to me) and (why not) we could ask Maccagno to host us again in 2010...

bye
