Hey Steve...... Can't see your video from work but will have a nose when I get home.
I'm planning to get 673 up and running again within a few weeks so will hopefully see you out and about on the water. |

A bit more kicker, less aggression on the tiller and get a bit more settled down would help increase the stability! Ease the jib a tad also. Nice safe gybe, just forgot to head up to get some power on before sitting on the side. |

Here's a message from Holland. Indeed we are new to the boat! It is owned by a Dutch sailing school ( http://www.allemansend.nl/ ). We, the guys in the movie, are instructors working there. The movie was during the first time that we were sailing with it. We are training almost every weekend, and have improved much since then!
More youtube footage will be coming in the future
We are having problems with the spinnaker because it keeps tearing apart when we strike it…. Do you guys know this problem? We would be very happy with some advice

Hi Arjen,
give me a mail, we can talk a bit further.. We live in Holland and could be nice te do some sailing together somwhere. We started sailing ISO last year. Diederik Schuuring is our local hero... He is sailing near Harderwijk. We hope te go to the dutch open skiff championship.. might be nice to meet over there... Three iso's and a belgian Boss...

Tairing of a gennaker.... examine the shute entrance: screws bolts, sharp edges and joints can do a lot of harm... tape everything, lube the entrance and the pole.. external gennakerhalyard (outside the mast) makes it go much smoother... In the begining we had to patch our gennaker quite often but at the moment it only happens selden.
