Nice simple one. I am about to change my car from a LWB 4x4 to a small hatchback.
Just wondering what is the smallest car people have managed to get the ISO main into? (with battens still in and sail rolled up normally) |

VW Passat Estate.
Not sure but I think the VW Golf Estate was ok also.
Why not take the sail with you to the showroom? When I go to view cars, I like to fold the back seats down and layout - testing the weekend race meeting sleeping accomodation! The sales people do look at you funny!

I can get an ISO main in my 106, and a boom for that matter. It involves a bit of seat juggling but fine if you don't want to carry passagers!

Hi
I can get all my sails, kit and virtually everything except the mast and the boat in my Punto, so you probably have a wide choice of cars !! However if you go aborad with the car, I would get something bigger as ducking under the sails at the toll booths is interesting to say the least !!
