Sorry, no there isn't. We didn't want to burden the fee with any more cost than was necessary. |

There might be for the Buzz fleet though Josh. They know how to handle their members! Not like us ISO sailors!!

We will be there even though I am overdrawn with my brownie ponts account at work - I have also paid my entry fee now anyway! |

There was a T-shirt for the ISO, well there still is, but not for the nationals. Rob, with a bit of help from me had designed a T shirt, he was talking with t-shirt printers ready for the nationals, when it was decided that adding another cost to the national entry fee was two much! But if there is enough interest we will have some made.

Barry,
You are right that adding cost to the entry fee is too much but the Buzzes have managed to get T-shirts with no extra cost in the past. I believe that was Pete's point.
I have 2 Buzz T-shirts, 2 Blaze ones, a Dart 18 one and 0 ISO ones! I have never had to pay for any of them.

The Buzz shirts last year had embroidered logo and text on the breast pocket, with Wet & Windy logo embroidered on the sleeve. Black polo shirts. They also did ladies fit which Annie was well chuffed about! The only thing they missed was putting the Buzz website address on the breast logo.
Telling the ISO committee now - we should learn from these guys (and gals) they have good methods for treating members and chasing new ones (e.g. clipboards at the boat show for the latter).
Why can't the class find the cost and dip into the savings?
Just DON'T do white again! The guinness staines don't come out!! |

Barry, I will have one if you get them made.
Think i will have to dig out my ISO tshirt for the weekend. Don't wear it much these days as it seems to have shrunk... but it is a fitting occasion. Does anyone else have one of these still? I think it is circa 1994/5. |

We gave away a load of the white sweat shirts about 4 years ago - but I'm the only person who still wears one ( ? ) No one has really expressed serious interest - until now
..... and I'll wear it again this weekend
Well it's still almost white .............. |

So Saturday night is an "ISO antique t-shirt night" then!?
Eurocup 1996 - If I've still got it!
Always a chuffin interest for a good quality POLO shirt for the nationals Bob. The last batch of t-shirts were those red B.O.S. ones. They were great for my car but not for the boat park!

T-shirts? Better a full set of wet weather gear. Some nice Musto's would be really handy.. Have you seen the forecast!! Or possibly a new set of pants for Sat, its currently looking at 30kts on the Met office.

Have just tried on my veteran tshirt.
There is far too much draught in the main and the mast has a lot of pre-bend. I think I have a problem with my spreaders.
If there is too much wind, how about the Nationals winner is the one with the oldest ISO garment.

If it's going to be that windy should we bring the Buzz instead!?
Been looking for my entry to the old t-shirt competition and it seems that it has been 'archived' somewhere - possibly the local jumble sale.

Since none of you lot could bring yourselves to even find the antique garments, let alone go on beauty parage with them, I win |

If any Buzz crews would like an embroidered Polo shirt post event e.g. 'I survived the 2006 Nationals' (!!)complete with all the logos etc. then let us know. If there is enough interest, we will order similar to last year. Cost around £10 each + delivery. Please confirm size, number of and delivery address in your reply.

Hi Penny
I to would love a t shirt the ones we had last year were great, mine was a perfect fit and didn't even slightly resemble a dress.
I know I was an iso sailor this year (scary mistake) but I don't mind having a Buzz t shirt, I'd like something to remind me of the pain and the fear. Plus it will help remind me which boat I should really be sailing.

Can we have a general shirt that covers all fleets?
"We survived the ISO, Buzz & Boss Nationals @ HISC 2006"
Put class logos, any sponsors, websites on? My shirt is a medium.

I think the best way forward is for us to confirm what is available and at what cost, and then we'll put an order form on the website with details of how to pay.
Pete - if you can co-ordinate the demand from the ISO and BOSS fleet, we will find out what the supplier can do. If we can sort this out before Herne Bay, we may be able to distribute the shirts then.
How many sponsor logos were you thinking of? We had W&W last year, but don't forget that each additional logo adds expense.
Last question - do the ISO and BOSS fleet hold embroider-ready artwork as the supplier we will use already has the BUZZ logo set up?

Based on the sizes of last years Buzz nationals polo shirts, mine was a Medium Size so work it from there for yourselves.
All ISO and Boss sailors, if you would like a polo shirt, you need to email me with your size and quantity.
All polo shirt orders will be put forward Wednesday 7th June next week, so closing date for this is Tuesday next week (6th June).
Email address is isofeedback2 at asafeplace co uk . Price is approx £10 + delivery.
Cheques made payable and the like, will be detailed by Penny.
Pete

Please order two large T-shirts for Dan and Ryan. They won't be at Herne Bay (difficult without a boat to sail), so if you email off-line I can give you the postal address and you can let me know where to send the cheque.
Thanks..... Jo Jo@thetates.f2s.com |
