Just a reminder that there's a 1-day open meeting for asymmetic classes on Sunday 5th, so let's have some Bosses to sail against on home water! Shoreham is a great place to sail: it's on the South Coast between Brighton and Worthing. Real sea sailing, but you launch into the harbour rather than off a beach! For more info on the club, go to www.shorehamsailing.org - you can download an easy-to-follow set of instructions on how to get there: less than 10 minutes off the main A27 South Coast Road.
First start is scheduled for 11.00, with 2 more to follow, back-to-back. Allow an extra 20 minutes to get out of the harbour to the start, though it doesn't usually take long.

PS Anyone not sailing at QM will be very welcome to come down the weekend before (August B Hol) and leave the boat. Please let me know if you want to. That's also the weekend of the Shoreham Air Show, so lots of entertainment!
