I understend the Buzz class rules were being amended before posting on the web site. Is there any news about them? I see the ISO rules have slightly changed for some items, can we have on the Buzz the same kind of mainsheet strops the ISO can use now (no metal, adjustable with a floating cleat)?

Thanks
Paolo

Sorry, I missed this one.

We have now established what the current rules are having spoken to John Caig at the Nationals.

The plan is to make some minor changes to cover things like replacement ropes and fittings plus additional purchase on the outhaul, improvements in the cunningham arrangement, similar in a lot of respects to the ISO rule changes. Adjustable stops will be included but only by allowing the use of something like Marlow D12 (rope without a core and easily spliced). This will form the draft which will go out to the membership for approval. We are still working on some of the details though and I hope do some more on this after the membership renewall are sorted which I'm doing this week !!

I'm actually trying some D12 part strops (the wire section remains) and it works very well. You'll see this at Garda.

Thanks Chris, please keep me informed so I can do some work on my boat in time for Garda without the risk of being out of the rules!
