Ive just sent off Fe Fe's entry fee for this years race.

I did the last couple in my Blaze but as Ive now sold it, and this is
to good an event to miss, Hannah and I will be doing it in the Buzz t
his year.

Its a totaly unique event which i would recomend to any one. More det
ails on the website

The Blazes always got a reasonable turn out which added to the fun an
d it would be good to see some Buzz's and ISO's there this year.

Ian,

I was about to say that i cannot do it as i thought it was the 2nd September, which is when Zoe and I are doing the Lee on Solent Regatta. I have since looked on their website and seen that it is Saturday 9th September so may well be along!!

With only a couple of days to go its looking like it could be almost perfect weather for the Sheppey race this weekend. All the forecasts show similar conditions with 12mph E to SE warm and sunny. It means it will be a beat down the coast at the start when everyone is still fresh and then a nice long run down the estuary with the kite up for the second half.

You can enter on the day and I think we already have 3-4 Buzz’s going so if any one fancies a challenge, a race that’s a little different from the norm come along. It’s the easiest course in the world to remember. 1 lap, keep the island to Starboard!

I expect Zoe and I will be doing it, the weather looks very pleasant for a cruise round the island. May have to take a little picnic with us too!

See you tomorrow . . .
