Big thanks to Bob and KGSC for putting on a good event - great way to finish the open season. I particularly enjoyed having a tractor to pull the boats up the ramp.

Unfortunately we couldn't be there for the evening's entertainment on the Sat but it sounded like fun and a good way to put on a few pounds which would have be useful to keep the boats flatter in the gusts on Sunday.

Well done to Stuart and Zoe for a convincing win in the Buzz fleet- hurrah!

Also thanks to Roger (and Penny), + all the others (Chris, Andy, Isobel, Jude etc) for all the hard work that generally goes on behind the schenes to keep the Buzz class going.

Jane and Mark

Well done Jonny & Bugsy. May be next year!

Top BBQ Bob & KGSC. I think it was one of the best I've had at a sailing venue - more meat than rabbit food!

All those who lodged in the area on Saturday night, can we please post details under the KGSC thread in the accomodation section of this board.

Pete

Hi just a quick note to say thanks to Bob and KGSC for organising a great event. I think some people in the fleet could do with some space hopper training. Any ideas Pete ?

we only have one Space Hopper left - one went for a swim during the Space Hopper football match and the other just went flat !! So own up - who squashed it !!!

Very pleased everyone enjoyed the BBQ - and the left overs on Sunday. Good to find we had too much.

I gather there is interest in another event at KGSC next year - please let Colin and Isobel know. Only time we have a problem with the tide is July / August, although this year Thames were very kind to us and we only lost about 1m for a short while.

Bob

Yus - it was fun - thanks to KGSC & Co - the 5 hr ride home was rather tedious - we must get the fleets to head west more often!!!
At least we kept our mast intact...........

Again, thanks to Bob and everyone for a great weekend, i may not be on the circuit for some time due to my knee - may need surgery, pending a scan soon. Actually Bob, there were 3 space hoppers to begin with, the other one went swimming, when hit (by me) during a space hopper cricket match (it was a great shot actually, just off the left slip :$)
